The Bay County Christian Youth Choir, Inc., an independent interdenominational youth choir, (the “BCCYC”) was established in 2009 under the conviction that the future of congregational participation in the music of the church lies in the training and nurturing of its youth and children. The choir has the goals of teaching choir members (i) to speak and sing in public, (ii) the experience of performing locally and on choir tours, (iii) how to work together to achieve goals that can only be achieved collectively, (iv) the discipline of making a long-term commitment and the rewards of hard work, (v) how to "get along" with fellow choir members and (vi) skills that enable the choir members to be what God has called us all to be: worshipers of Him.
The choir performs a Christmas concert, sings three or four times throughout the year at area churches and also sings at two or three community events. Each year the choir takes a Spring tour immediately after school in dismissed in late May or early June.
The choir sings a mixture of classical choral literature, traditional hymn arrangements, spirituals as well as contemporary praise and worship songs, and each choir member has a speaking part during the tour program. Each tour program is thematic, with the songs and speaking parts tied together by this theme. On tour the choir watches teaching videos on the bus and participates in Bible studies at night when the choir is together.
The BCCYC (grades 8th-12th) rehearses every Monday evening (September through May) from 5-7 PM. We are located at Grace Presbyterian Church, 1415 Airport Rd, Panama City, FL 32405.
We sing our choral pieces from 5-:50, have a time of praise and worship right after, then have bible study from 6-6:25. Dinner is provided from 6:30-7pm.
Please watch the promotional videos posted about the choir, the tour videos and the concert videos, and peruse the Tour Programs and Scripts-- and then come to a rehearsal and check us out! Please email the choir at email@example.com, or call Nevin Zimmerman at (850) 215-6604 for more information. You can also find us on Facebook!

• We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
• We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
• We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
• We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
• We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
• We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
